Got questions about our Unsecured Personal Loan?

Of course. Here’s how to apply for a Personal Loan with more than one applicant.

Who can apply for a Greater Bank Joint Personal Loan?

Anyone can apply for a joint Personal Loan with Greater Bank, so long as both applicants are 18 years of age or older, have a satisfactory credit history, and are Australian permanent residents.

What you’ll need to apply for a joint Personal Loan

To get things started, all we need is a few simple details. That’s it.

Our Joint Personal Loan Enquiry Form lets one of our lending experts know that you’re ready to apply with more than one applicant, and they’ll reach out to you.

Before our lending team gets in touch, it helps to have the following handy for all applicants:

  • Your current and previous employer details including name, address and contact number;
  • What you currently earn;
  • Current loan repayments and other payments you make;
  • Credit and store card limits and the value of your assets, and;
  • What your average monthly general living expenses are.

What to expect after applying

After speaking with our lending team, it’s over to us to do all the heavy lifting. You’ll hear from us again before long with the outcome of your application.

For a Secured Personal Loan and New Car Loan, you can apply for a loan between $5,000 to $100,000.

For an Unsecured Personal Loan, you can apply for a loan between $5,000 to $50,000.

Secured Personal Loans

A secured loan means you nominate an acceptable asset of yours (something valuable you already own) as security against the money you’ve borrowed.

It means if you’re unable to repay the loan, we may be able to sell the asset to pay towards your loan.

Unsecured Personal Loans

An unsecured loan is a loan without an asset as security for the debt.

The interest rate for an unsecured loan is usually higher than a secured personal loan since this is a higher risk scenario for the bank.

Greater Bank offers both secured and unsecured personal loans to suit your needs.

At Greater Bank, we don’t think you should have to wait to get what you want.

That’s why we aim to approve your Personal Loan within 24 hours.

Anyone can apply for a Personal Loan with Greater Bank, providing that you:

  • are 18 years or older,
  • have a satisfactory credit history, and;
  • are an Australian permanent resident.
