Lower Clarence and Ballina netball receive Greater boost

Greater Bank is back board for the 2024 seasons at Lower Clarance (LCNA) and Ballina (BNA) netball associations, with this year’s sponsorship contributing to the purchase of new equipment.

With LCNA working towards a full playing court overhaul, the Greater Bank support will facilitate the purchase of new PA system for the Maclean facility which is home to almost 300 members.

Although small LCNA is a high performer, with its 13s and 14s representative teams undefeated in their division at the 2023 Junior State Titles.

For this year’s State Titles BNA will be embarking on two firsts, entering a boys’ team and an All Abilities team as an exciting addition to their representative program.

Greater Bank’s sponsorship will complement this program, as well as provide new equipment for BNA’s indoor, twilight mixed, and Saturday netball competitions.

Greater Bank Ballina Branch Manager Tammie Barnden said that it was fantastic to see both associations grow their offerings.

“Both Lower Clarence and Ballina netball associations punch above their weight in the opportunities they are able to provide to their communities,” Tammie said.

“No matter the level, netball promotes teamwork, friendships and a healthy lifestyle, and anyone can have a go.

“We’re very proud at Greater Bank to be a part of this and are looking forward to another great year of netball!”
