Greater Bank is back on board for another season at Orange Netball Association (ONA), with a 2024 sponsorship supporting the association off the back of unprecedented growth.
The Greater Bank support will help the association purchase new equipment, pay their umpires, and contribute to upgrades that will facilitate the larger 2024 competition.
Almost 20 additional teams will hit the Anzac Park courts this year, with a mid-week competition wrapping up last week and the Saturday winter season kicking off on 4 May.
ONA President Dana Standring said the association was thrilled to see membership grow.
“Netball is literally for anybody,” Dana said.
“We have worked hard and are still working to become an even more inclusive sport, and without support from organisations like Greater Bank we wouldn’t be able to achieve this.”
Greater Bank Orange Branch Manager Nerissa Clarke said that an increase in participation was wonderful to see.
“Orange Netball Association has done a great job of creating a friendly and fun environment, and so many new teams joining the competition is testament to those efforts,” Nerissa said.
“We’re very proud at Greater Bank to be part of this community, and are looking forward to another great year of netball!”
