The Jets:Tour fuelled by Greater Bank, will hit the road again in September with the Jets A-League Men's team heading to Coffs Harbour. The tour will culminate in a pre-season trial match against Brisbane Roar at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour, in association with the City of Coffs Harbour.
Newcastle Jets is pleased to confirm that they will be returning to the Coffs Coast this September for their annual Jets:Tour fuelled by Greater Bank, culminating in a pre-season trial match against Brisbane Roar at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour, in association with the City of Coffs Harbour.
The A-League Men’s team will depart Newcastle on Sunday 17 September bound for Coffs Harbour, where the team will spend four days training and engaging with the Northern New South Wales community ahead of the trial match on Wednesday 20 September.
Jets: Tour 2023 will feature a number of highlights including two free Jets: Play clinics for the local communities in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, four Jets school visits in Coffs Harbour, an open training session at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on the morning of Tuesday 19 September, and a pre-season trial between Rob Stanton’s Jets and Ross Aloisi’s Roar on the Wednesday evening.
Newcastle Jets Executive Chairman, Shane Mattiske, said Jets: Tour 2023 represents a great opportunity for the club to engage with its member and supporter base as well as the wider football community in Northern NSW.
“As a club we are delighted by the prospect of returning to regional Northern NSW as part of our pre-season preparations,” Mattiske said. “We know we have a number of supporters in the region, and thanks to Greater Bank and the City of Coffs Harbour we have a great platform to engage closely with them and the wider football community this September.”

Coffs Harbour City Council Mayor Paul Amos said “We’re excited to be welcoming the Newcastle Jets back for their preseason training camp. No doubt the highlight will be seeing the Jets take on Brisbane Roar at C.ex Coffs International Stadium. With free kids entry, we expect the Coffs Harbour community to be out in force, cheering on the home-away-from-home side.”
