This year was supposed to be different to 2020 and our lives were meant to return to normal. It wasn't quite to be though as we were challenged again by the pandemic.
Through it all our Sydney branch employees kept the doors opened, albeit on reduced hours for the safety and wellbeing of all, to ensure they continued to serve our customers through these tough times.
Before the curtain comes down on the year, we caught up with some of our Branch Managers in your region to reflect on the challenges of 2021 and what they are looking forward to as we head into the Christmas and New Year period, and 2022.
Penrith - Utagamamao Uili, Branch Manager
There is no doubt that the disruptions that COVID presented had an impact on everyone. So much of our year revolved around changing the way we operate to ensure we supported and protected our customers and each other.
Most importantly, we got through and are looking forward to a more positive 2022.
Christmas has given us all something to look forward to and we got into the spirit early putting up a tree and decorating the branch in late November. It’s something that our customers have appreciated and enjoyed.
Our team at Penrith has a lot to celebrate and we look forward to doing just that at our Christmas dinner.
The new year presents us all with new hope and opportunity, we are looking forward to what 2022 will bring.
