How long have you been in the role?
I have been with Greater Bank for almost 11 years and in the banking industry for a total of 34 years. Throughout my time at Greater Bank I have managed the Pacific Pines, Nerang, Burleigh Heads and Helensvale Branches.

As the branch manager, what are the key principles that you and your team live and work by every day?
Key principles that have been developed within the branch is ensuring every team member feels valued and appreciated in their role and in what they bring to the team as individuals. This promotes positivity, teamwork, and creates a better work environment.
What are the most challenging and rewarding parts of your role?
The most challenging part of the role is keeping up with the lending changes as the finance industry shifts and evolves to new standards. However, being able to help our customers achieve their goals, having their loan applications approved and buying their dream home is definitely the most rewarding part of my role.
What's your most memorable customer interaction at the Helensvale Branch and why?
My most memorable customer interactions come from home loan applications that are outside guidelines where I've been able to challenge it and result in their application being approved. This allows me to go the extra mile for customers whose circumstances aren't the norm and would otherwise be turned away.
How has your branch supported the local community?
Our branch has been a strong supporter of OzHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue organisation. We’ve helped them by raising awareness and funds for what is a wonderful organisation that does great things to support people in our community.
What do you love about Helensvale and the local community?
The diversity within the demographic at Helensvale is quite remarkable. We have people from different parts of Australia and the world who have chosen to live in the beautiful holiday destination we call home. We are always open to new customers from where our branch is located and enjoy hearing stories from their experiences and journeys.
