With a commitment to supporting the communities that support us, Greater Bank is thrilled to be sponsoring Shellharbour AFL club for the first time in 2021.
Our support has enabled the ‘The Suns’ to purchase new training equipment and uniforms as well as medical equipment for the club without the need to increase fees for its members.
Established more than a decade ago, the small club based at Myimbarr Oval and administered by a passionate group of volunteers who work tirelessly to get their three senior teams on the park each weekend.
“The cost of putting teams on the field rises each year and our membership fees only cover a percentage of our overall costs,” said Shoalhaven Suns President, Steve Ashworth.
“This support from Greater Bank is incredibly important to the success of our small club both on and off the field.”

Greater Bank’s Mobile Lending Manager Illawarra/Sutherland Shire, Brendan White, is proud to be supporting not only the club but also the local community through this inaugural sponsorship.
“We have a strong connection to the Shellharbour community and local area partnerships such as this are just one of the ways in which we demonstrate our support for the areas in which we operate,” Brendan said.
“We are proud to get behind our local talent and play a key role in assisting such an important part of the community, not only for the players but also for their families and friends who come along to watch each week and enjoy the social element of the game,” Brendan said.
