Greater Bank has supported netball in the Hunter for 30 years. It is our longest running community partnership and something we are incredibly proud of.
This support started with Newcastle Netball Association, and in 2021 includes the sponsorship of six additional Hunter-based associations, including Charlestown, Port Stephens, Nelson Bay, Singleton, Scone and Muswellbrook.
Our sponsorship enables the associations to keep members fees as low as possible, while continuing to provide the necessary equipment and refurbishments that go into running a successful competition each year.

In addition to supporting grassroots netball, our support of elite pathways also continues this year though the sponsorship of the Hunter Academy of Sport Netball Program and Sam Poolman’s Aspire Netball Program.
Both programs are back after being disrupted by COVID-19 in 2020 and will play a vital role in the Netball NSW Athlete Pathway by identifying, monitoring and developing the skills of young netballers and enabling them to realise their sporting dreams.
