Greater Bank is once again proud to be a major sponsor of the Maitland Riverlights Multicultural Festival, which takes place on Saturday 12 October from 3 – 9pm at The Levee, Central Maitland.
Celebrating the vibrant interaction of diverse cultures in an exciting and accessible way, the Festival offers something for the whole family and features interactive stalls, cultural performances, dance and art, a multi-cultural food fair, music and fashion parades.
This year’s program also features cultural demonstrations from around the world, a language lounge where you can learn to count in a number of languages, live cooking demonstrations and the ever-popular lantern making workshops.
Once the sun sets, the Riverlights Multicultural Festival really comes alive with the popular festival parade and a magical lantern flotilla lighting up the Hunter River with floating lanterns.
Greater Bank’s Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Matt Hingston, believes that as a customer bank it’s important for Greater Bank to support the communities it calls home.
“We are proud to be a major sponsor of the Maitland Riverlights Multicultural Festival again this year. Maitland has such a strong and diverse culture and we are proud to help showcase this locally and to the greater Hunter region by supporting the Riverlights Festival,” he said.
