Newcastle Jets

As Major Community Partner of the Newcastle Jets, we’re bringing fans closer to their A-League and W-League heroes than ever before!

The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship

To celebrate, sustain and grow Indigenous art and design in New South Wales with Façon Magazine, we will offer a $10,000 artistic scholarship, with guidance from Murrook Cultural Centre again in 2025.

ASPIRE Program with Sam Poolman

Greater Bank has joined forces with Giants Super Netballer and Hunter Academy of Sport graduate Sam Poolman to deliver the ASPIRE Netball program, aimed at helping young netballers navigate the pathway from amateur to professional.

The Greater Bank Community Match has grown to become an integral part of the season, welcoming families along for an experience that’s more than just a game.

To celebrate 10 years of partnership, we’ll be dialling up the action at the next double-header Community Match with a special pre-game activation you won’t want to miss!

Where: McDonald Jones Stadium

Gates open: 4pm

Game 1: A League Men's Newcastle Jets v Melbourne Victory - 5pm

Game 2: A League Women's Newcastle Jets v Melbourne City Women's - 7.45pm

We're celebrating our customers and local community for making our regions greater.

In the past 7 years, we've given away $1 million across 7 regions to over 770 organisations.

So ‘Thanks a mil’ to the hardworking volunteers who run the sports clubs, food pantries, and photography groups; to those who coach the teams, look after abandoned animals, and make the costumes for performances; and to those who raise money for the local school, to restore the community hall, or provide vital help to the elderly, the isolated and people battling illness.

Greater funding for our communities

Every month, we give away $21,000 in funding to the communities we call home.

Here's how

Our Community Funding Programs

It all started with an idea. We've always helped the communities we call home grow, so in 2016 we decided to empower locals and let them decide where our funding could have the greatest impact. Since then, we've given away $1 million dollars to 770+ organisations across 7 regions - Central Coast, Central West, Gold Coast, the Illawarra, Mid North Coast, New England and Northern Rivers. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of and our way of saying ‘Thanks a Mil’ to those groups and people making our communities even greater.

Greater Central Coast
