We're here to help
“The impacts of these floods on the people of the Norther Rivers region, particularly those in Lismore, Ballina and Casino, is unfathomable and heartbreaking to watch. Our hearts go out to everyone in those areas,” Mr Newham said.
“We understand that banking is possibly the furthest things from our customers’ minds right now but want them to know that financial relief will be available if and when they require it.”
The package will allow customers to:
- negotiate changes to scheduled loan repayments via our Hardship program.
- access funds in term deposits without impacting the interest rate payable.
- redraw funds from an applicable home loan at a branch without fees (customers are already able to redraw fee-free via online banking).
“Greater Bank’s Emergency Relief Package is immediately available to customers directly affected by the floods, which is central to providing what assistance we can though this traumatic situation.”
Craig Newham, Greater Bank Group Executive Sales, Marketing and Distribution
