Greater Bank has announced a range of financial relief solutions for customers who have been impacted by the flooding that has devastated parts of NSW.
Greater Bank Group Executive Sales, Marketing and Distribution, Craig Newham, said that he understands that this is an extremely stressful time for those living in affected areas, particularly those households and businesses that were also impacted by bushfires and the pandemic over the past 18 months.
“It is an incredibly tough time for many customers in the region and our thoughts go out to everyone impacted. We know that banking isn’t a high priority for many of our customers right now but want them to know that relief will be available if and when they require it,” Mr Newham said.
“Greater Bank’s Emergency relief package is in place and immediately available to those directly affected by the floods. We are committed to supporting our customers though this traumatic situation and will provide them with what assistance we can.”

The package will allow customers to:
- negotiate changes to scheduled loan repayments via our Hardship program.
- access funds in term deposits without impacting the interest rate payable.
- redraw funds from an applicable home loan at a branch without fees (customers are already able to redraw fee-free via internet banking).
Additionally, customers who have purchased insurance through Greater Bank and need to make a claim are advised to notify insurance partner, Allianz, as soon as possible by visiting allianzclaims.com.au or calling the claims line on 1300 555 030.
Greater Bank branches in the flood-affected regions of Forster, Taree, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Grafton are open for customers to visit during office hours to discuss which emergency relief options might be suitable for their individual circumstances. Alternatively, they can phone the customer service centre on 1300 651 400.
