The Foundation’s key focus is on enhancing the financial wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.

We aim to do this by seeking to partner with organisations that are addressing the barriers to financial wellbeing through education, employment, health-based and social welfare initiatives.

The Greater Charitable Foundation no longer stages open funding rounds and instead proactively seeks funding proposals from charitable organisations which align with the Foundation’s vision, mission and funding objectives.

If you believe you have a program which would align with our revised strategic direction, you can send an email to foundation@greater.com.au. In the email please include the following:-
• The specific reason why you believe your organisation might be of potential interest/value;
• Brief outline of your program;
• cost to deliver.

We will contact you if we feel that the program is in alignment with our refined focus.

We do not make grants to programs that fall outside our key funding focus of enhancing the financial wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.

If you are successful in receiving funding from the Greater Charitable Foundation, you will receive a letter from us confirming the conditions of the grant, payment schedule and reporting arrangements. Grants will be paid through Electronic Funds Transfer within four (4) weeks after you have received formal notification from us. Funded organisations are required to provide a receipt to the Foundation within 21 days following payment.

Your organisation will be required to acknowledge the grant from the Greater Charitable Foundation through the use of our logo in publications and other promotional materials. We will supply you with an electronic copy of our logo which must be used in compliance with the grant conditions as outlined in your grant agreement.

No, the Greater Charitable Foundation is only able to provide funding to organisations which are based within Australia and projects where activities take place in Australia.

The Foundation makes grants to organisations directly rather than through individual fundraising activities; therefore, we are unable to fund your effort. Please click here to see our other exclusions.

If you are under contract with the Foundation and wish to apply for further funding, you can discuss your proposal with the Foundation Office prior to your contract end date. Approval to proceed with additional funding would be contingent on the acquittal of the previous grant.
